Here is the report and pictures for the 2009 show

The Isle of Thanet Bird Club again staged the biggest and best show in Kent on the 7th ofNovember 2009, with several hundred benched entries. There was as usual a fine show of birds spread across all sections, and a good atmoshere at what was the last show in this venue.

The Isle of Thanet Bird Club staged the largest show in Kent on 18 November 2006, with 454 benched entries. There was good quality spread across all sections, and a big increase of visitors from the general public.

The 2005 show was on Saturday 19th November at St. Georges School in Broadstairs. A smaller show than usual because of the ban on foreign entries but still a fun day. Below are some pictures and a small video clip so you can hear the canaries singing.

Results are as follows: best champion Border or Fife, Tapsell & Rowlands; best novice Border or Fife, J. Freshwater; best champion canary excluding Border and Fife, T. Harnett; best novice Canary excluding Border and Fife, B. Keay; best novice/beginner Budgerigar, P. Ulyatt; best champion British bird, mule or hybrid, A. Lawson; best novice British bird, mule or hybrid, K. Chapman; best Zebra Finch or Bengalese, Mr & Mrs Debling; best juniors exhibit, L. Tahiri.

Judges: M. Fox, T. Berrisford, G. Lewsey, J. Vincent, L. Wulveryck, S. Tappenden and G. Cheeseman.
